Case Study - PIZZAS FOR COVID-19 INTENSIVE CARE UNITS | ANTONIO RÜDIGER
CHALLENGE: Already in April 2020 Antonio Rüdiger committed himself to help hospital staff at his maternity hospital, the Berlin Charité. For three months they get their catering by a local caterer. The corona intensive care units in parts of Germany were also in case of emergency in December. A donated lunch is intended to thank the staff and create media attention for their work.
SOLUTION
We identified 13 hospitals in ten different cities that were particularly hard hit by the pandemic due to a high incidence value and full Covid-19 intensive care units. In consultation with the hospitals, we organized pizza deliveries and made more than 400 nurses happy. In addition, we sent the staff a thank you letter from Toni.
For further attention and the well-deserved recognition for the work done by the staff, we spread the campaign to various media. These took up the content of the story and statements from Toni, which resulted in a broad, positive media response.
